1.1.1 will not have phone service with the 1.1.2 baseband, will need to update back to 1.1.2 to get phone functionality.

Ok.. fingers crossed, I tried again last night at 9pm, and its now been working fine for nearly 22 hours without any hiccups, perhaps it now really is fixed?

now that they no longer seem to work on t-mobile, I may have mine up for sale for a reasonable price shortly.

After working fine for several hours last night, its doing it again this morning.. most annoying.

I've done absolutely nothing, leading further to think its some changes t-mobile have done in network, and either undone, or fixed, over this weekend, that are propagating through network.

Looking hopefull here.. had sim in for 15 mins so far without any signal drop, and made a call to 150 in that time.

Still doing it here.. but if its definately stopped for you, then it does suggest it might be something being changed on network, and hopefully willl propagate to here soon too.

What would be most interesting to know right now, is if iphone 1.1.1 and below still work on uk network, that have been software unlocked, or if this only affects those of us using inbetween sims.

I can confirm I'm on t-mobile too.. so if everyone so far is a t-mob user, that may well some how be the issue, intentionally or unintentionally.

And I've tested phone with a regular valid PAYG sim, and thats absolutely fine.. so either TSIM is failing for some reason, or phones suddenly activated some new check, maybe.
