I cut down my SIM as described and inserted the SIM-TSIM sandwhich into my phone.
From my phone menu screen I can access the turbo-sim menu:
setup:
Language
Turbo SMS (what is this app anyway... ?)
Networking
About (It is Version 1.2.7)
However: I am trying to connect and upload to the turbo-sim over a bluetooth connection. The modem sometimes responds and sometimes not. I get plenty of error messages (Some listed below) and have no clue how to decipher them. So far i tried the following phones with no luck:
Nokia N80
Nokia N73
Nokia 6600
Here are is one of the errors get with my Nokia N73 when talking to the phone/modem:
Code: | C:\>turbo-info -b9600 -dCOM1
initializing modem
AT+CPMS="SM","SM"
ERROR
modem initiated
SEND: 01 029100110000810004FF0110→
ANS AT+CMGW=9
ERROR
ANS 029100110000810004FF0110→
OK. No Error |
Does my phone not support the SMS commands necessary or could I have a contact issue?
Uploading or removing apps does definitely not work the way I am trying.
Bladox: Any suggestions on how to further troubleshoot this? |

Your phones don't support the commands.....the Nokia 6230i was reported to work. |

Just use your iPhone's modem and be done with it. It's much easier and far less hassle. |

AT+CPMS usually means contact issues. To be honest, I think any phones (that allows you to connect as a modem) will work. |
