Well, Columbus did't discover America, he just discovered some caribean islands. America was discovered by an other italian, Amerigo Vespucci (lat. Americus Vespucius) and named in his honor by a german cartographer.
The iPhone also owes much to german ingenuity as both its chipset and touchscreen are made by german companies. |
