Hi,
I've got som strange response when i tried to attach the turbo-naked to the programmer to run the dbg utilities. "Insert sim-card", althoug the sim is inserted in the N6310 and the naked is inserted into the programmer. When running dbg the dbg led is not illuminated, shuld it be?
To check the programmer i did the following steps:
When trying prog_version the response is "Programmer_version:" then it hangs.
I've tried to update the firmware using the instructions:
Prog_update_fw tprog_kernel-2.0.0.bin (the jumper is changed to program mode according to instr.)
Response:
Initializing device
Device initialized
Programmer loading procedure has started
Uploading programmer firmware
Page 14/(0- 479)
Then it hangs.. I'm assuming that it should count to 479 and/or release the prompt with som ok message. The led PFW is illuminated.
What should I do?

Yes, it should be on. Something is wrong. Please insert turbo after programmer is on and also insert the right corner of turbo first in to the programmer connector.

The steps you describe are right and it should work as you describe. It could be wrong hardware but that's very unlikely. Probably something is wrong on usb - bad driver, bad board (we have seen such).
Could you please try:
- different pc
- different os (what os do you have?)
Do you have hub?
Thank you. |

We're using XP Pro, and W2k Pro.
It seems to be the usb driver.
I have tried both the D2XX_EX direct driver and the other driver that FDTI provides. Using the USB driver the led is illuminated on the programmer but the prog_update_fw gives the error that the port is not availible.
Using the USB serial driver the led is not illuminated. Which probably means that there is not any power at the USB port?
Which of the drivers should be used?
