|
|
Here is what im using, TurboSim + Applesaft.trb to bypass sim lock on iPhone. Everything works fine until while sitting down i notice the signal bar on the phone drops to zero, and then it suddenly jumps back up to full.. this happens more than once a day... it seems like the turbosim is not as stable as it should be.. ?
My iPhone is hardware unlock, and I have tested my sim WITHOUT the turbosim and I have not experienced any signal resets or drops to zero and back to full.. so my guess is that the turbosim is having stability problems or else the the network is reacting to what the turbosim is doing.. ?? please can someone answer me..
my turbosim is running kernel 1.2.7
applsaft.trb 0.92 (experienced signal resets)
isa.trb 0.93 (experienced signal resets)
thank you |

I have the same issue in the UK. It only happens with the T-Mobile SIM, not with Orange.
Which network are you using please?
Many thanks

I'm having exactly the same problem in the UK, but been blaming the iPhone ... only tried it with a T-Mobile SIM so far but have an assortment of other SIM cards I can play with to see if I can replicate the problem.
It's worth noting that a number of people in the US have reported this to Apple (particularly on some of the earlier iPhones) on AT&T and Apple have replaced any phones where the customer has had an issue with random disconnections... its possible I'm just unlucky enough to have one of them! :/
However will try it with an O2 sim today and see if i still have the issue, if not then I'm hoping it's something Bladox can fix ) |

I am sure that it is something to do with the TurboSIM / T-Mobile combination.
I gave up on the TurboSIM and went for the software unlock and it has been working perfectly since. |

I'm using 1.1.1 so for now that's not an option..
I can't understand why the T-Mobile SIM would act any differently. |

I've just tried it with two different styles of T-Mobile SIM, one the new (n3) squarer type and the other the more rounded type ... both exhibited the same behavior of random signal drop outs
I also tried an O2 PAYG SIM (older style) which has the same problem. |
